Sometimes we just need to vent...doesn't it always same that when fixtures are needed it rains, well I'm helping my parents pay the bill for fumigation and plus we need a new roof on the house, new bathroom sink and fix a leaking pipe...eeek!
on top of this, work. I go in a happy mood and somehow others just try to stomp me down in their bitterness. Gossip, favoritism, lying etc...Whatever happened to the days that we could go to work and work, play nice. We have to be with each other 10hours a day why make it harder.
Well almost to Friday right :o) and thank goodness I'm off.
I know what you mean. It just seems like office politics always gets in the way. It's great that you at least start the day with a great attitude. Maybe it will rub off!

Those days have been gone for quite some time now. Prayer and lots of it could help, it works for me. Especially when I am not particularly fond of whoever is "in my face" already. Stay strong.
ReplyDeletesorry you have a rough week so far! We're you internet workmates and we're always nice:) *hugs*
ReplyDeleteI hope your week gets better!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like when it rains it pours when it comes to home maintenance. Good luck with all that and at work with your co-workers. I don't know why people need to be so nasty... but we're always nice here!! Friday is coming!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to ignore when it is all around you. Maybe headphones and an iPod will drown some of it out!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, it'll get better!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a tough week:( Take the high road and be better!
ReplyDeleteThe stress from seeing the value of our homes going downhill, the price of basics like food, gasoline & medications, the hatred and stalemates in Congress ... all this is causing a lot of stress for people AND it is definitely changing the way many treat each other.
ReplyDeleteSome days we just want to throw open the window and holler, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!
I can't even express to you how much I need to vent sometimes. I have had an AWFUL year and I'm waiting for it to improve. I had two miscarriages in 6 months, lost my job, and 5 days ago my grandmother died. I am about to turn 30 (on friday) and I thought I would have 2 kids by now (otherwise I could care less about age - it's the lack of kids that's upsetting). Life could be better :( It's hard to deal with stress (especially with baby loss) as people just don't get it! Keep that smile on your face - forget other people (I know easier said than done) (((hugs))) - sorry for my vent lol - much love to you!
ReplyDeleteI hope your next week and days to come get better :)
ReplyDeleteTake care!
You're exactly right. Sometimes we just need to vent. Hope the rest of your week is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou can make it to Friday! Almost there...
ReplyDeleteVenting always makes us feel better. We all just need to be careful that when venting it doesn't turn into gossip.
ReplyDeleteI used to work in an office of 11 women. WOW! There was rarely a nice and cooperative day....
You can do it, Friday is almost here. Hang in there!
Audrey Hepburn has some great words of encouragement:
ReplyDeleteFor beautiful eyes, look for the good in others;
for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness;
and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.
and another of her favorites:
I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls.
I believe that tomorrow is another day, and... I believe in miracles.
We all need to vent sometimes...or else we'll simply explode on someone. I hope it gets better. :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, doesn't that feel good? Venting is a necessary resource! Best of luck with all that's going on:)
ReplyDeleteSeems to be a very bumpy time for lots of us. Hang in there. You always have us to support you.
ReplyDeleteFeel free to vent anytime, but sorry things can be so rough. When I worked as a nurse, I would always start the day in a good mood and a smile, and it didn't take long for someone to try to squash it and wipe my smile away with brillo pads. Feel your pain. Friday's almost here.
ReplyDeleteAlmost friday!!!
ReplyDeleteI hear yah Isabelle. I am a manager and I feel like I am raising adults sometimes. So much politics. I feel for you and your house as well. My basement flooded. We are still trying to get it fixed. We are living all on one level of the house.
ReplyDeleteOMG Isabelle....I hear ya!!! why can't people just do their work and leave us alone....uurrrgghhh....hope it gets better !!!!
ReplyDeleteyou are all so sweet, thanks for hearing me out and thank you for sharing your vents with me too. That is what makes this team awesome!
